GUEST BEHAVIOUR - Please note,
that we refuse the right of boarding to any guest who arrives intoxicated by alcohol or under the influence of illegal substances.  If this occurs, we will not refund any monies paid.
Guests must abide by all Australian Laws while on-board our tours and respect the needs of other guests.  If necessary, action may be taken by the Captain and Crew to remove obnoxious or troublesome guests and if required notify the Police and Authorities.

ITINERARIES - Guests please be advised that itineraries shown in our advertising are examples only.  All tours/cruises will vary based on the tide and wind conditions.  Captains will make decisions based on guest comfort and safety.  On a small % of departures we cannot make it to all the Whitsunday Icons, such as Whitehaven Beach.  Guests travelling on Whitsunday Magic Reef Cruise should be aware that in the case of winds in excess of 15 to 20 knots, that the cruise will stay around the islands.  On these occasions there are plenty of beautiful coral reefs to see surrounding the Islands.

Guests should note that Sailing can be a dangerous activity and while our crew will make every effort to ensure guest safety, we cannot be accountable for actions of guests that are beyond our control. Guests will be required to complete a pre departure questionnaire, and sign a travel agreement during the check-in process.  Southern Cross Sailing Adventures & Australian Tall Ships Cruises has the applicable Shipowners insurance to cover public liability for our guests and staff.

We strongly recommend that guests take out their own travel insurance to cover valuable items, eg. Cameras, and to protect themselves against unforseen last minute cancellations, caused by weather, flight delays or any reason out of the control of Australian Tall Ship Cruises.  Further any medical conditions that may occur during carriage, and the associated extra costs of accessing medical care around the islands.
